Contribution after Settlement under the Negligence Act
If a plaintiff settles with a defendant in a multi-party dispute, it can complicate a trial with the other parties if a judge rules the settling party owes more than they already payed. This project will examine how the law is unclear on how to address this problem, and recommend necessary changes.
