Response to the Proposed Waste Discharge Regulation
In 2003 the Environmental Management Act was passed, replacing the Waste Management Act, as part of the BC government’s deregulation initiative. The proposed Waste Discharge Regulation would be created under the new Act. This paper evaluates the proposed regulation and makes recommendations.
