Society Act Reform Project

The Society Act provides for the incorporation, governance, and termination of not-for-profit bodies in British Columbia. Enacted in 1977, the Act has not kept up with developments in the legal landscape and the not-for-profit sector. This project aims to create a new and modern Society Act.
