
Family Maintenance Enforcement Program: Federal Licence/Passport Denial Fact Sheet
The Family Maintenance Enforcement Program can notify the federal government when the person who is supposed to pay support (the payor) has fallen $3,000 or more behind in support payments. The federal government will suspend or refuse to issue a passport or aviation/marine licence to the payor.
