If you have been the victim of a crime, this service can provide emotional support, information about your rights, and referrals for those living in Vancouver and Burnaby. You don’t need to report a crime to the police to receive help.

Book an appointment to speak directly with a court registry employee for assistance with court related matters by video or phone. Court registry staff will try to answer your questions about court processes, but they cannot help you complete your forms or give legal advice.

The community law advocate helps with income assistance, tenancy dispute resolution, Employment Insurance, and federal income benefits. The family law advocate helps with desk order divorce and other family law issues, domestic violence screening, protection orders, and safety resources. Pro bono law clinics and BC Housing workshops are available.

Free help to any adult in Prince George with family law issues. The legal advocate provides information, referrals, advocacy, court support, and assistance with filling out legal forms for parental arrangements, children’s rights, child protection, child or spousal support, separation and divorce, guardianship, protection orders, and FMEP.

Provides assistance with preparing documents to initiate or respond to proceedings in Family Court on support, custody, access, and Protection Orders.
