However, it is important to contact the police if you believe you are being stalked.

- Help Starts Here: Information on Stalking, from the provincial government, has information about criminal harassment and suggests ways to stay safe.
- Stalking is a Crime Called Criminal Harassment, from the Canada Department of Justice, explains what type of behaviour counts as criminal harassment and what steps you can take to protect yourself.
- For Your Protection: Peace Bonds and Family Law Protection Orders, from the provincial government and Legal Aid BC, is written for people living in BC who need protection from someone they are - or have been - in an intimate relationship with.
