Community Legal Assistance Society (CLAS)

CLAS provides legal assistance to disadvantaged people throughout BC. We specialize in the areas of poverty, disability, workers' compensation, employment insurance, mental health, human rights and equality law. Our activities include test case & Charter litigation; service case work and law reform; legal supervision of advocacy groups & law students; publication of legal materials to assist self-represented litigants; and legal training & support to advocates, community groups and others.
