
Information and Referral Services
The volunteers provide free information and referral for seniors. Topics include seniors benefits (CPP, OAS, GIS, Disability Pension), completing applications for benefits, referrals to legal advocates, income tax preparation, Commissioner for Taking Affidavits services, health issues, older LGBT issues, consumer protection, low-income community, and health services (dental, medical, etc.), government service referrals. Seniors Outreach Volunteers can come to your home - call to make a referral.

- 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, in-person drop-in support services incl. free computers, internet, wifi and phone. Information and referral assistance is by appt. Call ahead to find out if the volunteer working that day is able to provide the service required (prepare taxes/act as a Commissioner of Oaths).
