BC's Commercial Tenancy Act is badly out of date. Enacted in the late 1890s, the Act largely restates English legislation from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The Commercial Tenancy Act Reform Project examines the creation of a new and relevant legal framework for commercial leasing.
