Workers Compensation Appeal Tribunal

WCAT is an appeal tribunal located in Richmond, BC. WCAT is the final level of appeal in the workers' compensation system of British Columbia and is independent of WorkSafeBC. WCAT hears appeals from most Review Division decisions. The Review Division provides the first level review for most WorkSafeBC decisions concerning compensation, vocational rehabilitation, assessments and occupational health and safety (prevention). Some Review Division decisions are not appealable to WCAT.
