
Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Line
The toll-free line provides assistance to grandparents and other relatives (aunts, older siblings, etc.) raising children full-time in their homes in BC. The staff helps you with advocacy around kinship care benefits (including Extended Family Program, CIHR, and government benefits), MCFD services, general family law information (including guardianship, child protection, and self-representation), health & housing information, and community referrals.
