Legal Aid BC staff who give legal information and limited advice; explain the legal process; attend court with clients; help clients prepare forms and letters; participate in negotiations; talk on a client’s behalf to Ministry of Children and Family Development staff, a legal aid lawyer, duty counsel, or the client’s Band; and make referrals to other services.
